Classmates,

At the last moment due to increasing costs at the club in Norco, Susan and I have had to change locations for the reunion. The dates and prices are still the same. The new location is at the Casa Loma Room at the University of Redlands. We will still have dancing, a DJ, and there will be a full (no host) bar available. (Goodness knows I need a drink! :-) ) So, due to the last moment location change, we are able to extend the RSVP date to July 16th. We will also accept your money due until July 20th. On July 16th we need to give a final count to the caterer, so please let us know by then if you plan to attend. That way we know that you will get to eat! :-)

I have heard from so many people in the last seven days that I am quite busy still putting together a list of attendees. Rest assured that I will get that to you all along with directions to all of the events for the weekend.

Also, we had to cancel the golf event due to lack of interest. You can still golf at the Yucaipa course, but it will not be tournament style. If you need additional information for golf, please contact me and I can get that to you.

It is our hope that since the location is now closer to Yucaipa, those of you who were "on the fence" will hop off and join us for an evening of food, fun, and memories!

Remember, we regret that we cannot receive money at the door. (We do understand that a few of you have special considerations, so do not worry, we have you on our 'special list'.)

I would like each of you who have already RSVP'd to respond to this email to let me know that you understand the location change. I want to make sure that you show up in Redlands and not Norco!! Some of you have already contacted me to let me know you understand the change; you do not have to contact me a second time.

Below I have added the updated information for the reunion weekend. I have also attached an RSVP form in Word if you need it.

Hello Classmates,

Our 20-year reunion is now upon us! Hard to believe that it has been 20 years. Where does the time go? Following are event details for the reunion weekend, July 31/Aug. 1, 2004

MAIN EVENT:

Semi-formal evening, July 31, 2004 Cost: $108 per couple OR $54 per individual

We will have a Saturday evening, gourmet buffet style dinner at Casa Loma Room at the University of Redlands, 1200 E. Colton Ave., Redlands, CA. Dress is semi-formal. The evening will begin at 6pm and will end at 11pm. We will have a DJ and dancing and there is a full, non-host bar. Plenty of parking is available. We will also be taking individual/couple photographs for the memory book. You can also place a business card size advertisement in the memory book. (See below)

OPTIONAL EVENTS:

Sunday morning/afternoon family day, Aug. 1, 2004 - Cost: FREE

This day is for everyone including the kids! We will meet at Bryant Glen Park/Community Center on Oak Glen Road at approximately 11am. Depending on finances available, the day in the park will be a BYOEYN (bring your own everything you need) event. We will have organized softball games and there will also be basketball and tennis courts available for use. BBQ's are also available in the park for general use.

FOR THOSE WHO ARE INTERESTED IN AN ADVERTISEMENT IN THE MEMORY BOOK:

Please send a standard size business card along with $35. We will hold your card for the memory book. If you happen to change your business card information, you have until the event date to submit a new card.

FOR THOSE WHO ARE INTERESTED IN A MEMORY BOOK:

Please include an additional $15 with your payment and don't forget to give us your address so we can send you your book. This memory book promises to be a much improved version of our 10-year reunion memory book.

If you are unable to attend but would like a copy of the memory book (or to place an ad) please indicate on the YHS Reunion RSVP form.



TO RSVP:

Please completely fill out the YHS Reunion RSVP form and send the total due to Lori Elmore Horter. We can accept personal checks or money orders. Please make the check/money order out to Lori Horter. The deadline to RSVP for the Saturday evening dinner at the Casa Loma room is July 16th.
Early payment is appreciated since your reunion committee is currently making financial commitments.

We need your help! Our most challenging task is to find all of our classmates. If you have contact information for any classmates, please contact one of us. Also, if anyone would like to help us out during the reunion weekend, please let us know. We need recruits for the evening to help with set-up and to check in guests.
